At Alstom, we are committed to creating a sustainable future for transportation. As a Train Electrical Engineer in our Hennigsdorf, Germany location, you will play a key role in leading our project engineering team to deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions.

Your Mission:

You will be responsible for managing all electrical engineering deliverables and leading a multi-disciplinary team. Your expertise in train systems and experience in international and multicultural environments will be invaluable in this role.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Quality, Cost, and Delivery of S&A and EHI deliverables:

  • Responsible for carry-over analysis (electrical product) to identify reusable components from previous projects.
  • Responsible for NRC costing and workload management.
  • Contributor to ENG planning with a focus on end-to-end planning with Indus/Manuf.
  • Contributor to PDO definition.
  • Informed of PIO.
  • Responsible for technology choices.
  • Responsible for architecture definition: equipment cubicle content, position, pathways, break zones.

Next Phases:

  • Interface between Project and CoE electrical.
  • Responsible for baselining definition and input deliveries (CRs) to CoE electrical.
  • Responsible for harness integration.
  • Operational management of S&A and EHI team allocated on the project.
  • Ensure interfaces with Train System, Train Design, Train Control, RAMS, EMC expert, Industrialization Electrical.
  • Managing internal and external activities (workload, planning, work package reviews, risks).
  • Leading design reviews and deliverables reviews.
  • Ensuring baselining contents for your scope.
  • Ensure follow-up with PrEM.
  • Supporting continuous improvement of the domain with the Métier.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Railways Electrical engineering knowledge.
  • Strong approach (hands-on experience is a plus) in electrical CAD (See One / Catia EHI).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in activity/team management.
  • Train systems/functions/Industrialization & Manufacturing of harnesses knowledge.
  • Spoken and written English is mandatory.
