Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Researcher in Foundation Models with a focus on Multimodal Agent Systems to join our team at Fraunhofer IAIS. As a researcher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative methods to improve multimodal agent/multiagent systems with regard to the automated control of web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement innovative methods to improve multimodal agent/multiagent systems
  • Implement and integrate methods into our technology stack
  • Train foundation models based on developed methods on high-performance computers
  • Publish research results at high-ranking international conferences and journals
  • Evaluate market potential of AI research together with application teams

Requirements:

  • Completed scientific university degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a similar field
  • Previous knowledge in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
  • Very good programming skills in Python and PyTorch
  • Excellent analytical skills and abstract thinking
  • High level of commitment and willingness to learn
  • Structured work and professional demeanor
  • Very good knowledge of German language skills
