We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled student to join our research team at the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR). As a student researcher, you will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that combines computer science and game development.

About the Project

The project focuses on developing a multiplayer game as a virtual testbed for personalized infection risk management approaches. The game will be designed to evaluate the effectiveness of different contact tracing methods in real-world settings. You will work closely with our team to develop the game, analyze data, and draw conclusions on the effectiveness of various approaches.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop a multiplayer game using development frameworks for online games
  • Analyze data and draw conclusions on the effectiveness of different contact tracing methods
  • Work closely with our team to design and implement the game
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and approaches
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Master degree in computer science or similar
  • Experience with development frameworks for online games
  • Willingness to learn about new technologies
  • Interest in serious games
