Job Title: Researcher in Multilingual Foundation Models

We are seeking a highly skilled Researcher in Multilingual Foundation Models to join our team at Fraunhofer IAIS. As a Researcher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative methods to train multilingual foundations more efficiently and improve their language comprehension.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement novel methods for training multilingual foundations
  • Integrate your methods into our technology stack
  • Train foundation models on high-performance computers
  • Publish research results at top-tier conferences and journals
  • Evaluate market potential of research results with application teams
Requirements:
  • Completed scientific university degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field
  • Strong background in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
  • Excellent programming skills in Python and PyTorch
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to think abstractly
  • High level of commitment and willingness to learn
  • Structured work and professional demeanor
  • Very good knowledge of German language skills (at least level C1)
