Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Broadcasting Operations Specialist to join our team at Sky Deutschland GmbH. As a key member of our live sports production team, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our broadcasting systems, ensuring that our live sports broadcasts are delivered to our audience without interruption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate broadcast automation systems, routers, audio and video mixing consoles, measuring devices, and intercom systems to ensure seamless broadcasting operations.
  • Provide first-level support in the event of a breakdown, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure that all aspects of the broadcast are executed flawlessly, including routing and measuring signals, audio mixing, and adding special advertising and broadcast graphics.
  • Collaborate with the responsible trades to ensure that all technical aspects of the broadcast are properly coordinated and executed.
  • Develop a deep understanding of program planning, broadcast planning, and advertising planning to ensure that our broadcasts are delivered in a smooth and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or a degree in a relevant field of activity.
  • Experience working with IP technology and audio/video solutions.
  • Strong specialist knowledge in TV in-house production, with experience in conception and design.
  • A high affinity for the Sky product and the associated live handling of sports productions.
  • Reliable, structured, and highly responsible, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team, with a high level of resilience and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
