Job Requirements:

As a Playout Operator, you will be responsible for the live broadcasting of the Sky Sport portfolio. This involves operating broadcast automation systems, routers, audio and video mixing consoles, measuring devices, and intercom systems. You will also be responsible for the production environment, including routing and measuring signals, audio mixing, and communicating with the responsible teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate broadcast automation systems, routers, audio and video mixing consoles, measuring devices, and intercom systems.
  • Manage the production environment, including routing and measuring signals, audio mixing, and communicating with the responsible teams.
  • Provide first-level support in the event of a technical failure.
  • Understand the requirements of program planning, broadcast planning, and advertising planning and translate these into a smooth broadcasting process.
  • Work with common content management systems.

Requirements:
  • Vocational training or a degree in the relevant field of activity.
  • Experience in working with IP technology and audio/video solutions.
  • Very good specialist knowledge in TV in-house production through conception and design experience.
  • High affinity for the Sky product and the associated live handling of sports productions.
  • Reliable, structured way of working, and high degree of personal responsibility.
  • High level of resilience and strong ability to work in a team.
  • Clear and solution-oriented communication.
  • Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
