We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team at Universität Siegen. As a researcher in quantum computing and materials science, you will be responsible for developing multi-core quantum computers and resonant waveguides with ultrahigh-Q in the microwave and terahertz frequency range.
Key Responsibilities- Design and development of multi-core quantum computers and resonant waveguides
- Development of cryogenic antennas based on modern 2D materials
- Design and optimization of resonant waveguides and cryogenic antennas
- Technological manufacturing in the clean room
- Development of suitable measurement setups and analysis of results
- Preparation of scientific publications and reports
- Support in research and teaching, supervision and examination of students
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics
- Independent research interest and professional competence in antenna design, optoelectronics, ultra-high frequency technology, or terahertz technology
- Experience in experimental setup construction is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Knowledge of German is beneficial but not mandatory
- Promotion of own scientific qualification
