Medical Officer Job Description

As a Medical Officer on the Logos Hope, you will be responsible for providing medical care to the crew and passengers. This is a unique opportunity to serve in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while making a real difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care to the crew and passengers, including running the clinic, emergency situations, and documentation.
  • Coordinate the duty medical schedule for each month and ensure that the clinic is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Work closely with the Medical Officer to ensure that the clinic is running smoothly and that all medical needs are met.
  • Be part of the Control team and on-call duty medical staff, providing medical support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous work experience in a hospital or doctor's practice.
  • Completed an apprenticeship in nursing or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
