Your Role

We are looking for a Project Procurement Manager to join our team in Oberpfaffenhofen. As a key member of our core project team, you will be responsible for all procurement-related activities, including initiation, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of procurement activities for equipment and subsystems.

Your Tasks

  • Select suitable suppliers and subcontractors through direct negotiation, restricted or open competition
  • Lead a team of subcontract managers, including establishment of tender documentation, organization and management of Tender Evaluation
  • Negotiate contracts, manage change requests, and ensure contract compliance
  • Report to the project manager and line manager on a regular basis

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or comparable qualifications
  • Several years of project management experience with a focus on financial management and contract management, preferably in the space industry
  • High level of technical expertise to understand technical requirements
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, knowledge of German is desirable
