Systems Analyst for Aviation Projects

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and evaluate data to identify and document service/system specifications for aviation initiatives.
  • Engage collaboratively with stakeholders to comprehend and articulate business specifications and workflows, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Oversee the requirements traceability matrix to guarantee that all specifications are traceable, testable, and verifiable.
  • Design and implement data-informed solutions to facilitate decision-making, enhance business performance, and fulfill strategic objectives.
  • Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to formulate project timelines and prioritize tasks, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Continuously assess industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending innovative tools and methodologies to refine requirements management practices.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business analyst capacity, particularly within the aviation sector and requirements management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a background in service and system requirements management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS, JIRA) and database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
