Your Role

The ZEISS Group is embarking on a transformative journey to standardize and regularize its business processes globally, leveraging SAP S/4HANA as the foundation. As a Business Process Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in this initiative, working closely with business and IT experts to collect business requirements and specify process adaptations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business representatives and IT experts to analyze business requirements and design process adaptations aligned with the global SAP template.
  • Improve, build, and test existing SAP template processes, adding new functionalities as required.
  • Support change control and demand management for ZEISS entities live in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Contribute functional and process expertise to design to-be processes, identifying potential handover points and interfaces.
  • Prepare to-be process design decisions within E2E workstreams and ZEISS MED process owners.
  • Act as a coordinator in the ZEISS MED segment to drive efficient design work and transformation.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, such as Sprint Planning, Backlog grooming, Daily Stand-ups, and Sprint Retro.
  • Support training concept and training documents creation.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Up to 2 years of relevant professional experience in Finance and Controlling.
  • In-depth understanding of E2E Record-to-Report business processes, including P&L design, Internal Accounting, and integration with financial-related processes and systems.
  • Proven experience with business requirements management and design of business processes.
  • Experience with SAP R/3 (and ideally SAP S/4HANA) as well as relevant third-party business systems.
  • Excellent conceptual, results-oriented, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build networks and keenness to work in intercultural and interdisciplinary global teams.
  • Business fluent in English and German (must have).
  • Willingness to travel.
