ZEISS is focused on standardizing and streamlining various ERP systems from multiple companies throughout the Group during the transition from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA. The objective is to align closely with SAP standards and harmonize processes across all segments and regions wherever feasible, emphasizing Efficiency, Effectiveness, Speed, Flexibility, and Compliance. This project is both thrilling and intricate. FIT4 serves as a crucial lever in executing the Company's #agenda25.
The Role... ZEISS is in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Process Consultant to be part of this transformative phase for the organization. The successful candidates will collaborate with other business and IT professionals to gather business requirements and specify necessary process modifications. You will analyze business needs concerning the global SAP template while supporting end-to-end workstreams in designing essential adaptations to global template processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the analysis and coordination of the development of global end-to-end Record-to-Record processes and requirements in collaboration with business representatives from the ZEISS MED segment and IT specialists.
- Enhance, construct, and test the existing SAP template while incorporating new functionalities for required end-to-end Record-to-Record process adaptations to global template processes.
- Assist in change control and demand management for ZEISS entities operating in SAP S/4HANA.
- Provide functional and process expertise based on current processes in the design of future processes, identifying potential handover points and interfaces to other end-to-end processes.
- Prepare decisions regarding future process designs within end-to-end workstreams and ZEISS MED process owners.
- Act as a coordinator within the ZEISS MED segment to facilitate efficient design work and drive transformation.
- Engage in typical agile practices such as Sprint Planning, Backlog grooming, Daily Stand-ups, and Sprint Retrospectives.
- Support the development of training concepts and training documentation.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Up to 2 years of relevant professional experience, particularly in Finance and Controlling.
- Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end Record-to-Report business processes, including P&L design, Internal Accounting, and integration with financial-related processes and systems.
- Demonstrated experience in business requirements management and business process design.
- Familiarity with SAP R/3 (and ideally SAP S/4HANA) as well as relevant third-party business systems.
- Relevant industry knowledge.
- Exceptional conceptual, results-oriented, and communication skills.
- Aptitude for building networks and a desire to work in an intercultural and interdisciplinary global team.
- Fluency in English and German (mandatory).
- Willingness to travel.
