Cinemo, a global leader in infotainment products, is seeking an experienced Android expert to join our Software Engineering department.

About the Role

As an Android Application Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile Apps for the Android platform, utilizing our award-winning IVI products. Your primary focus will be on innovating, developing, and maintaining mobile Apps, ensuring high-quality, robust, and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain mobile Apps using our core product
  • Produce well-documented code with a focus on high quality, robustness, and maintainability
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android-related technologies
  • Collaborate with software engineers, UX designers, solution architects, customer support teams, and QA departments
Requirements
  • At least 4+ years of experience in Android Application development
  • Excellent Kotlin programming skills using the Google Android SDK
  • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles and patterns (Play Store certification process)
  • Very good experience in CarPlay
  • Ability to read and understand C++ and Java source code
  • Self-motivated, self-reliant, and solution-driven, with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new ideas
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
