About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial Director to drive our commercial strategy and maximize business growth in Germany.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding market conditions and industry trends, as well as business operations to inform business marketing and sales strategy. This includes identifying new market opportunities, developing strategies to enter new markets, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of commercial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue and profit growth by developing and implementing strategies that align with business goals.
  • Lead and manage the sales team to drive sales performance and meet sales targets.
  • Conduct regular performance analysis and reporting to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a senior commercial role for high-tech capital investment products, preferably in the laser machine tool industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
  • A business qualification – BSc/BA/ MSc/MA in business administration or a relevant field.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated €120,000 - €180,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also benefit from working in an attractive and international environment with a dedicated and experienced team, with a good life-balance and fairness.
