Accounting Leadership Role

HRS Group, a pioneer in business travel, is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead our finance team in Cologne. As a Team Lead Accounting, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for our German companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure ongoing accounting and payment transactions
  • Compliance with legal and reporting requirements
  • Continuous optimization and further development of existing processes in the area of finance and accounting
  • Operational involvement in day-to-day business and month-end closing activities
  • Contact person for auditors, tax advisors, and public authorities for the companies for which you are responsible
  • Leading and coaching of a team of up to 5 people

Requirements

  • Completed university degree with a background in business administration or comparable apprenticeship
  • Solid knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards and German tax law
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • Independent, responsible, and solution-oriented way of working as well as strong communication and implementation skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Navision, SAP, and MS Office is an advantage
  • Fluent in German and English, written and spoken
