Global Accounting Team Lead

Financial Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead our global accounting team and drive process optimization. As a Team Lead Global Accounting, you will be responsible for the preparation of consolidated financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of subsidiaries, and supporting foreign subsidiaries in all accounting matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare consolidated annual, quarterly, and monthly financial statements
  • Ensure reporting of subsidiaries as part of the reporting processes
  • Support foreign subsidiaries in all accounting issues
  • Prepare monthly bank reporting and other ad-hoc reports
  • Operational execution of consolidation, intercompany recharges, and day-to-day business
  • Secure continuous improvement of accounting processes
  • Contact person for auditors and tax advisors of foreign subsidiaries
  • Lead and coach a team of up to 3 people

Requirements

  • Completed university degree in business administration or comparable apprenticeship
  • Comprehensive professional experience in a leadership position in group accounting with complex group structures
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting and external reporting standards (HGB and IFRS) and tax issues
  • Experience in international tax audits and internal group consolidation processes
  • Knowledge of cross-border transfer pricing systems
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP, LucaNET, and MS Office
  • Fluent in German and English, written and spoken
