Data Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Specialist to join our team at Sidekick Health Germany GmbH. As a Data Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with data protection regulations across the organization, supporting our European teams with expert guidance and oversight.
Your key responsibilities will include handling data protection requests from European teams, monitoring compliance, and documenting essential information within the Data Protection Management System. You will also address data protection incidents, manage inquiries from data subjects, and assist the lead in communicating with supervisory authorities.
In addition, you will train and advise data protection coordinators, optimize data protection processes, and provide legal advice on contracts related to data protection laws and regulations.
Key Requirements- Strong knowledge of relevant data protection regulations, including GDPR and BDSG
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a data protection officer or consultant
- Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with software programs
- Willingness to take on responsibility and find practical solutions
- Highly structured and conscientious work style
- Familiarity with the relevant regulations of the GDPR and BDSG; knowledge of DiGA-specific regulations is a plus but not required
- Fluent in German and English
