Data Privacy Specialist

Coloplast is seeking a highly skilled Data Privacy Manager to join our EU compliance team. As a Data Privacy Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers' and users' data remains private and protected.
You will be part of a cohesive team spirit both locally and globally, working closely with our compliance colleagues in the US, Europe, and APEC countries. Your main responsibility will be to act as our subject matter expert for data privacy in the EU region and emerging markets across the globe.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing input to the Corporate Business Ethics & Data Privacy function's setting of strategy and action plans
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining incident response and data breach notification processes
- Preparing reports and management information
- Coordinating and providing guidance, assessments, and training related to data protection
- Conducting internal and external data privacy audits, reviews, impact, and readiness assessments
- Serving as a point of contact for external interaction related to data protection, including submission of registrations to applicable data protection agencies/authorities in the EU region, acting as the local DPO for the German subsidiary
This role will also involve traveling 10-15 days per year. If you have a strong background in data protection compliance and are passionate about building relationships and creating buy-in, we encourage you to apply.
