Key Responsibilities- Support the external Data Protection Officer (DPO) in managing data protection and privacy activities across the organization.
- Ensure all data processing activities comply with GDPR and other relevant data protection laws.
- Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures.
- Monitor and audit data processing activities to ensure compliance with GDPR.
- Support the external DPO in conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on GDPR requirements and data protection best practices.
- Promote a culture of data protection and privacy awareness within the organization.
- Assist in the identification, investigation, and reporting of data breaches in compliance with GDPR requirements.
- Manage and respond to data subject access requests (DSARs) and other requests related to data subjects' rights.
- Master or Bachelor's degree in law, Information Security, IT, or a related field.
- Professional certification in data protection (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data-protection, privacy, or a related compliance role.
- In-depth knowledge of GDPR and other relevant data protection laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
