Senior Financial Auditor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a global IFRS advisor on specific IFRS standards, providing expert guidance to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS, including group reports and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Document and update KWS-wide accounting policies according to the latest standards and interpretations.
  • Handle special IFRS topics during quarterly closings and business partner/unit queries.
  • Develop and perform quality reviews of financial statements and reporting packages.
  • Document and improve accounting-related processes and procedures, driving change and improvement.
  • Provide internal trainings and presentations on IFRS and accounting best practices.
  • Support the external audit process, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.

Requirements:

  • Academic degree in Accounting, Audit, or a related field, with a focus on international accounting principles.
  • Several years of experience in Audit and/or Group Accounting, with a proven track record of applying accounting principles and procedures in an international environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP and/or other ERP systems, as well as MS Office applications.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must, with German as a plus.
