Financial Accountant Role at Q ENERGY

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to manage the daily financial transactions of Q ENERGY in general and focus on its main business, a renewable power plant EPC service provider.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of general ledgers, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Supervise and post business transactions, maintaining a high level of financial reporting and compliance.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing in accordance with IFRS and HGB, preparing appendices for group company reporting.
- Support the financial audit of Q ENERGY, responding to external auditor requests and coordinating with internal teams.
- Act as the primary contact for all departments for accounting issues and questions.
- Handle ad-hoc requests from top management and the Head of the Department.
- Continuously develop and optimize accounting work processes, advancing automation, standardization, and digitalization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance positions, with experience in managing audits.
- Proven track record in finance and/or accounting roles within an international environment.
- Comprehensive understanding and application of HGB and IFRS accounting standards, supported by a globally recognized certification.
- Proficiency in utilizing SAP and MS Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and management.
- Fluency in English and German; proficiency in any additional language is a plus.
