Job Title: IT Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Applike Group GmbH. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for providing first and second-level support to our employees, ensuring that our workplace technology is constantly working, and providing technical assistance with computer hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-level support to employees
  • Ensure that our workplace technology is constantly working, including network, Wi-Fi, internet access, meeting rooms, and technical equipment
  • Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software, including macOS, Windows, and Linux platforms
  • Create and maintain tips and tricks solutions in our Confluence
  • Properly manage the IT warehouse
  • Provide setup and removal of technical equipment
  • Manage over 250 workstations, mainly onsite in Hamburg but also remotely
  • Ensure proper security of our computers and network

Requirements:

  • Experience in System Administrator roles or equivalent experience
  • Expertise in various fields such as operating system administration, network security setup, infrastructure fallbacks, and process automation
  • Knowledge in working with Windows and Mac
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Independent, reliable way of working, high motivation, and hands-on mentality
  • Strong command of English and German (min. B2) language spoken and written
