About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity to lead the Chapter Procurement and act as Digital Partner for the Siemens Energy Procurement organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Digital Core Functions landscape over the complete lifecycle, from planning through implementation and operations until shutdown.
- Shape the Digital budget with the goal to create excellent business value through Digital Core Functions.
- Guide and coach employees in your chapter, align with the business on strategic initiatives and operational activities, and collaborate with other Digital departments to get projects implemented and incidents resolved.
- Manage a team of 15-20 employees located in three main countries (Germany, India, US) and define individual training and development plans.
- Develop the strategic direction (Digital Strategy, Digital Architecture, Digital Roadmap) in the Business Capability Procurement together with the Global Process Owner.
- Host the Business Alignment Boards for Procurement together with the Global Process Owner as key element for strategic direction and alignment.
- Ensure that your Portfolio of Projects is accurately prioritized and provides insights into its Business Value, and is in sync with Digital Strategic Direction and executed according to Budget, Quality and Time.
- Develop a technology vision for your chapter and ensure knowledge sharing and community building within the technical and functional area of Procurement across all SAP and non SAP based services / applications.
- Support our company on our journey to SAP S/4 HANA and promote and push sharing / re-using of solutions and adherence to global template standards.
Requirements
- University studies or a comparable education.
- At least 3 years of professional experience and significant knowledge in Procurement either from Digital or Business perspective.
- Profound knowledge in SAP ERP, specifically in Procurement-related modules like MM, is a plus.
- Management experience as a project manager, service manager or line manager.
- Excellent in troubleshooting and ideally have experience in managing delivery of Digital Core Functions.
- Specific experiences in major core domains of Digital like: Digital Strategy & Architecture, Project Management, Vendor Management, Financial Management, Digital Core Functions.
- Fluent communication in English.
