A Snapshot of Your Day
You will lead the Chapter Procurement and act as Digital Partner for the Siemens Energy Procurement organization. Within this role, you will create, align, and implement the Digital Core Functions landscape over the complete lifecycle, from planning through implementation and operations until shutdown. As Digital Partner, you will shape the Digital budget with the goal to create excellent business value through Digital Core Functions. Your daily work will include guiding and coaching the employees in your chapter, aligning with the business on strategic initiatives and operational activities, and collaborating with other Digital departments to get projects implemented and incidents resolved.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 15-20 employees located in three main countries (Germany, India, US)
- Define individual training and development plans and serve as main contact for employees regarding career development
- Develop the strategic direction (Digital Strategy, Digital Architecture, Digital Roadmap) in the Business Capability Procurement together with the Global Process Owner, ensuring close collaboration between Procurement, Business Areas, and Digital
- Host the Business Alignment Boards for Procurement together with the Global Process Owner as key element for strategic direction and alignment
- Ensure that your Portfolio of Projects is accurately prioritized and provides insights into its Business Value, and is in sync with Digital Strategic Direction and executed according to Budget, Quality, and Time
- Develop a technology vision for your chapter
- Ensure knowledge sharing and community building within the technical and functional area of Procurement across all SAP and non-SAP based services/applications
- Support the company on its journey to SAP S/4 HANA
- Promote and push sharing/re-using of solutions and adherence to global template standards
Requirements
- University studies or comparable education
- Professional experience (at least 3 years) and significant knowledge in Procurement either from Digital or Business perspective
- Profound knowledge in SAP ERP, specifically in Procurement-related modules like MM
- Management experience as a project manager, service manager, or line manager
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience in managing delivery of Digital Core Functions
- Specific experiences in major core domains of Digital like: Digital Strategy & Architecture, Project Management, Vendor Management, Financial Management, Digital Core Functions
- Strong bias towards transformation and valued sparring partner for key Stakeholder Procurement across the Globe
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Sound strategic, entrepreneurial, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to implement
