We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Trainee in Risk Management. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and tasks, gaining valuable experience and skills in the field of risk management.

About the Role

The Trainee in Risk Management will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of risk management strategies and models. You will work closely with our experienced team to analyze and mitigate risks, ensuring the company's financial stability and growth.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies and models
  • Analyze and mitigate risks to ensure the company's financial stability and growth
  • Work closely with the team to identify and address potential risks and opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and proposals for new projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk management and mitigation
Requirements
  • Successful completion of studies in mathematics, physics, or a related field
  • First practical experience gained through internships and/or working student activities
  • Curiosity and openness to working in an international environment
  • Intercultural experience is crucial, experience abroad a plus
  • Sense of responsibility, proactivity, and advanced interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiarity with common numerical methods, probability theory, and ideally also stochastic calculus
  • First experience in implementing numerical calculations of stochastic or other complex mathematical models in a modern programming language
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is required, German language skills are a plus
