Project Coordination Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bid and Project Director to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of proposals and projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project management strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Lead a team of project managers and coordinators to ensure successful project execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Identify and capitalize on business opportunities, developing and implementing strategies to drive growth and revenue.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the rail industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop strategic recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, with proficiency in German or French a plus.
