**About the Role**
Ava Energy is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team in the energy sector. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities for offshore wind farms in Germany, ensuring cost-effective operations and building strong supplier relationships to support our global energy transition efforts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage procurement activities for offshore wind farms, ensuring cost-effective operations and compliance with company policies.
- Lead tender processes and negotiate contracts in collaboration with internal teams, including procurement, engineering, and operations.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships, focusing on performance, quality, and future opportunities.
- Oversee purchase orders and ensure timely delivery, managing inventory levels and optimizing logistics.
- Contribute to the implementation of procurement systems and process improvements, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
**Requirements:**
- Degree in Commercial Law, Business Administration, or related field, with a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
- 3+ years of experience in contract management or procurement, ideally in industrial equipment, with a proven track record of cost savings and supplier relationship development.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Fluent in English and German, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in the wind industry is preferred, with knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
