Procurement Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Wintershall Dea. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing and contracting goods and services for our Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute purchase-to-pay transactions and ensure contract performance and adherence to contractual conditions.
- Manage tender processes, evaluate proposals, and conduct final negotiations up to contract award.
- Establish project procurement strategies and coordinate between project and procurement organization.
- Communicate procurement strategies to the community and ensure a clear and frequent presence of Procurement within operations.
- Handle disputes and claims, and ensure contract variations and amendments are executed smoothly.
Requirements
- Relevant vocational education or bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (economics, procurement/supply chain, engineering).
- At least 2 years' experience in an operational or strategic buyer position (procurement/supply chain) or alternative profound sourcing and contract management experience.
- Proactive team player with solution-oriented, self-motivated, and good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and systematic way of working, with knowledge of E&P business and good knowledge of surface equipment & services an advantage.
- Cross-cultural awareness and good negotiation skills.
- Fluent in English and German (oral and written), with a high willingness to travel.
- Committed to company HSE policy and principles, acting responsibly and in accordance with HSE and quality requirements.
