Procurement Specialist

Cogs is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team as a Contract Management Professional. As an MRO Procurement Expert, you will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing, procurement, and management of contracts related to Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute procurement strategies for MRO materials, spare parts, equipment, and services to support the airline's operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies in all procurement activities.
- Manage supplier relationships, including contract management, performance monitoring, and renewals.
- Implement cost-control measures and maintain effective inventory management to minimize excess and obsolete stock.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to understand specific MRO needs and provide timely procurement support.
- Liaise with legal, finance, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, contractual terms, and corporate governance.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to avoid disruption to the company's MRO activities.
- Ensure continuous availability of critical materials and spare parts, addressing shortages, lead time issues, and supplier reliability.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement and contract management, with a specific focus on MRO, aviation, or aircraft.
- Proven experience in contract management, supplier negotiations, and managing high-value procurement portfolios.
- Proficient in procurement systems (ERP/SAP) and contract management software.
