Job Summary
We're looking for a procurement specialist to lead and coordinate negotiations in wind projects in the Northern Europe, Central Europe region. You'll be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, managing contracting processes, and maintaining fruitful relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate negotiations in wind projects in the NCE region for grouting, site facilities, inspections, and other commodities.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for assigned regions.
- Support the definition of requirements, sourcing, RFQ, selection, and contracting.
- Maintain fruitful relationships with stakeholders, including customer project execution, engineering, HSE, legal, and others.
- Manage contracting processes to ensure Vestas' interests are adequately represented.
- Ensure contractual coverage, streamline processes, and optimize total cost of ownership.
Requirements
- Experience with indirect procurement, construction experience will be an asset.
- Academic degree in engineering or business.
- Minimum 3 years' work experience in purchasing or another position requiring supplier management and business skills related to negotiations and contracting.

- Great interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Positive and solution-oriented problem solver, able to work in a cross-cultural environment.
- Ability to prioritize and work in a dynamic environment.
- Fluent English is essential, knowledge of German or one of the Scandinavian languages will be a plus.

Additional Information
Location: Hamburg, DE or Warsaw, PL. Approximately 2-4 travel days will be required per month.
