Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Controller to join our team at LuxairAirlines.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical control and support to flight crew and maintenance staff, ensuring the highest dispatch reliability in accordance with internal and legal regulations.

This role involves supervising and requesting necessary manpower and skills to achieve daily technical operations, updating involved departments with relevant information, and giving clear instructions on priorities and deadlines.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical control, support, and trouble-shooting for all technical issues on LUXAIR's Fleet and third parties/airlines according to current internal and legal regulations.
  2. Supervise and request necessary manpower and skills to achieve daily technical operations and update all involved departments with relevant technical and operational information/disturbances.
  3. Give clear instructions about priorities and deadlines to guarantee the highest dispatch reliability according to current internal regulations.
  4. Adjust work assignments in case of fluctuating workload to achieve optimal performance and secure action on Airworthiness Directives according to current internal and legal regulations.
  5. Ensure that all deferred defects are correctly recorded in the Technics database with all relevant information according to current internal and legal regulations.
  6. Support production in the application of critical task identification and double inspection procedure according to current internal and legal regulations.
  7. Provide assistance in trouble shooting to maintenance teams and flight crews in case of Pilot-In-Command-release application including on side assistance.
  8. Secure monitoring of fleet status and consideration of ongoing and future maintenance activities and grant acceptance of last minute changes planned by operations.
Required Profile

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A holder of a DAP or equivalent qualification.
  • A current Aircraft Licensed Staff B1 or B2.
  • Good knowledge of EASA Part M and Part 145 regulations.
  • A type rating of at least one Luxair aircraft type.
  • Excellent conflict management skills.
  • A good sense of priorities.
  • Ability to work in irregular shifts (24/24 hours 7/7 days).
  • Duty Travel experience.
  • Good communication skills in English as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written).
Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is €55,000 - €65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
