At Abiomis, we are delighted to be supporting a boutique consulting firm in their search for a Lead Internal Audit Specialist.

This firm specializes in internal audit, governance, and risk management and has grown steadily since its creation. The company is committed to maintaining its small size, allowing for personalized service and greater added value for clients.

As the Lead Internal Audit Specialist, your responsibilities will include working directly with clients on a regular basis, evaluating corporate governance and internal controls, developing policies and procedures in compliance with Luxembourgish legislation and CSSF regulations.

You will also be involved in assisting clients with the setup of their entity in Luxembourg, drafting CSSF applications, and reviewing all relevant documentation.

Furthermore, you will be tasked with identifying and assessing potential risks for your clients, providing proactive solutions and defining new risk management models.

To qualify for this position, you must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in audit in Luxembourg, gained through external audit in a Big Four or audit firm, or alternatively through internal audit with a financial service provider.

You should have prior exposure to a client base consisting of PSFs, banks, and/or investment funds.

You are fluent in French and have full professional proficiency in English, enabling you to communicate effectively with clients.

You should have a strong desire to expand your knowledge and grow in your autonomy while valuing teamwork and collaborating effectively with others.

Depending on your prior experience, you can expect an annual gross salary of up to €74,000.
