About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Storage System Administrator to join our team at Deutsche Börse AG. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the management and administration of our Derivatives & Cash storage infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor the storage environment, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Configure and implement storage arrays, with a focus on Linux Operating Systems and Fibre Channel infrastructure.
- Manage storage capacity and optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with external support teams and manufacturers to design, set up, and maintain storage environments.
- Support innovative IT projects and contribute to the development of our storage infrastructure.
- Work closely with our international team to ensure seamless operations and support.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in storage system administration, preferably in a mission-critical environment.
- Expertise in common storage systems and technologies, including Hitachi and NetApp storage systems, and Brocade Fibre Channel switches.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international team.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
- Proficiency in German and English.
