About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage System Administrator to join our team at Deutsche Börse AG. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the management and administration of our Derivatives & Cash storage infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Administer and monitor the storage environment, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Configure and maintain storage arrays, with a focus on Linux Operating Systems and Fibre Channel infrastructure.
  • Manage storage capacity and optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with external support teams and manufacturers to design, set up, and maintain storage environments.
  • Support innovative IT projects and contribute to the development of our storage infrastructure.
  • Work flexible hours, including shifts, on-call duty, and configuration changes outside of production times.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • 2+ years' experience in storage system administration, preferably in a mission-critical environment.
  • Expertise in common storage systems and technologies, including Hitachi and NetApp storage systems, and Brocade Fibre Channel switches.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international team.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Proficiency in German and English.
