Storage Infrastructure Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage System Administrator to join our team at Deutsche Börse AG. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the management and administration of our storage infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our Derivate and Cash markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain our storage infrastructure, including Fibre Channel switches and disk arrays
  • Configure and implement storage arrays, with a focus on Linux-based systems
  • Implement zoning for Fibre Channel infrastructure
  • Monitor and troubleshoot storage-related issues
  • Collaborate with external support teams and vendors to design, implement, and maintain storage environments
  • Participate in innovative IT projects and contribute to the development of new technologies
  • Be available for on-call duties and perform configuration changes outside of regular working hours

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in storage system administration, preferably in a business-critical environment
  • Strong knowledge of storage systems and technologies, including Hitachi and NetApp storage systems and Brocade Fibre Channel switches
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements
  • Proficiency in German and English languages
