Railway Systems Specialist

We're looking for a skilled Railway Systems Specialist to join our team at Alstom in Hennigsdorf. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of rail mobility.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing transverse requirement allocations to various subsystems, collaborating closely with specialists to ensure consistency and compatibility between sub-systems specifications. They will also define train system architecture, operational modes, and functionalities, taking into account external and internal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing train system FMECA in coordination with RAMS team
  • Ensuring consistency and compatibility between all the sub-systems specifications
  • Writing sub-system specification and architecture description (RSAD2) in collaboration with SSE/PU/TCE according to train level architecture
  • Driving technical relationships with suppliers, managing QCD commitments, risks, and validation
  • Supporting TSE or TDE to define applicable train configuration

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for verifying and validating train systems, defining and performing train verification strategy, and ensuring train integration and tuning.

About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. We're looking for someone with general technical competencies, more than 2 years of experience in Railways engineering as Sub System Engineer, and technical experience in one or two of the mentioned sub-systems. Basic skills in CAD (Catia V5) and Requirements Management (DOORs) are also required.
