About the Role:

CSA Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to join our team as an Industrial Sales Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to win new business in the hazardous locations and industrial equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at manufacturing companies in the industrial control and automation sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, and direct solicitation methods.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet personal sales targets and grow CSA Group's presence in the market.
  • Collaborate with technical specialists and operations staff to prepare written proposals and quotes for clients.
  • Participate in industry associations and outside organizations to stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity.
  • Provide regular written reports on sales activity, customer contact, and expenses.

Requirements:

  • Commercially competent in the field of hazardous locations or industrial TIC sales.
  • Proven sales experience in the testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) industry, with a strong track record of winning new business.
  • Strong commercial understanding in one of the following areas: ATEX Directive, IECEx Scheme, UKEx, North American hazardous location approvals, or industrial control/automation compliance.
  • Prior experience with sales CRM tracking software is a plus.
  • Proven ability to consistently exceed sales goals and meet or exceed targeted goals with minimal supervision.
  • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM database applications.
  • Responsive and pleasant when dealing with external and internal customers, peers, and co-workers.
