About the Role
As a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) Specialist at Trade Republic, you will play a crucial role in supporting our IT Governance team. Your responsibilities will include assisting with business continuity program activities, coordinating project deliverables, and contributing to process improvement initiatives. You will work closely with both IT and business colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare documentation for audits and reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in creating and implementing directives, policies, and procedures to enhance business continuity and disaster recovery efforts.
- Support the development of business continuity plans and conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats.
- Contribute to process improvement projects, analyzing and implementing changes to optimize business operations.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Information Sciences, or Business Administration, with a strong understanding of business continuity principles.
- Prior experience in financial services or a related field is a plus, with knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn in a dynamic environment, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize multiple tasks.
