About the Position
The Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) Intern at Trade Republic will work as part of the IT Governance team to assist with Business Continuity Program and governance activities that support all Trade Republic entities. Primary responsibilities include:
- Supporting directive rollouts and compliance
- Coordinating project deliverables and follow-up with internal and external resources
- Assisting with business continuity and disaster recovery documentation
- Assisting with process improvement initiatives within the department
Key Responsibilities
The BCMS Intern will be responsible for:
- Preparing documentation and providing support for internal and external audits, exams, reviews, etc.
- Assisting with the creation, implementation, and annual review of directives, policies, procedures, and work instructions
- Supporting the business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives by assisting with plan documentation and testing
- Assisting with process improvement initiatives within the department
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Pursuing a 4-year degree in Information Technology, Information Sciences, or Business Administration
- Initial experience in financial services would be an advantage
- Self-starter with the drive to work and continuously learn in a fast-paced, ever-changing, high-growth organization
- Excellent communication and written skills in English (German is a plus)
