Collateral Operations and Oversight Specialist, Senior Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Collateral Operations and Oversight Specialist, Senior Associate to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing collateral operations activities locally and outsourced to other State Street locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee collateral operations activities locally and outsourced to other State Street locations
- Lead and execute internal operations and oversight related projects
- Lead process improvements starting from identification of opportunities until execution and implementation
- Ensure high quality standards of the service
- Collaborate with internal and external groups to identify, analyze and proactively resolve issues and exceptions
- Contribute as subject matter expert to change processes and internal projects
- Work together with clients and other internal/external parties to improve and enhance processes
- Support audits, risk assessments and compliance initiatives by providing relevant data as well as new ideas
Requirements
- Strong sense of quality and commitment to interact with internal or external clients effectively and professionally
- Strong communication skills and service orientation
- Ability to work under pressure (e.g. meeting deadlines, adopting and implementing changes)
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree with a focus on business and financial topics or comparable apprenticeship
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, preferably within collateral management, operations oversight and/or client services
- Knowledge of financial instruments and the regulatory framework in regards to Collateral industry (e.g. EMIR)
- Proficiency in English and German
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, PowerBI preferred
