Client Onboarding Specialist Senior Associate

As a Client Onboarding Specialist Senior Associate at State Street Corporation, you will be responsible for taking ownership of onboarding new or changing business for our Collateral Services. You will guide clients and other involved parties through the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience. Your strong relationships with clients and stakeholders will be key to your success. You will collaborate with internal and external groups to identify, analyze, and proactively resolve issues and exceptions. Your expertise will contribute to change processes and internal projects. You will work closely with clients and other internal/external parties to ensure a seamless onboarding experience. You will also contribute to the constant improvement of onboarding processes and procedures. Additionally, you will set up clients on our Collateral platform and oversee onboarding steps outsourced to other State Street locations. You will support audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives by providing relevant data and new ideas.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree with a focus on business and financial topics or comparable apprenticeship is required. At least 4 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, preferably within collateral management, onboarding, and/or client services, is also required. Knowledge of financial instruments and the regulatory framework in regards to Collateral industry (e.g. EMIR) is necessary. Proficiency in English and German is required. Strong knowledge of MS Office applications is also necessary.
