About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled E-commerce Pioneer to join our team as Co-Founder / Managing Director. In this role, you will be responsible for managing an early-stage direct-to-consumer brand and driving its growth through innovative strategies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing a business strategy that leverages our successful playbook to drive market share and revenue growth
  • Creating and managing budgets with full Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability, ensuring the brand remains financially sustainable and profitable
  • Hiring a talented cross-functional team to support the brand's expansion and growth
  • Overseeing product development to ensure alignment with market trends and customer needs
  • Driving our social media and influencer strategy to maximize brand awareness and engagement
  • Collaborating closely with our C-Level executives and investors to align on key objectives and strategic initiatives
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or startups, with a proven track record of delivering results-driven solutions
  • An excellent degree in economics, business administration, marketing, or a relevant field from a top university
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in hiring and managing high-performing teams
  • A hands-on and results-oriented approach, with a strong focus on analytical capabilities and problem-solving
  • Fluency in English and German, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to start within the next 3 months, with a commitment to long-term growth and success
About the Opportunity

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a young and ambitious team at Excelling Ventures GmbH, with flat hierarchies and fast decision-making paths. As Co-Founder / Managing Director, you will have a large degree of freedom to actively shape the company's direction and contribute to its growth and success.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around €120,000 - €150,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. This includes a competitive compensation package, including shares and benefits, designed to attract and retain top talent in the industry.
