We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join our team at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Freiburg, Germany.
About the ProjectThe successful candidate will be working on a project focused on functional cancer genomics, with a strong emphasis on high-throughput characterization of mutations in cancer genes. The project aims to unravel the impact of genetic alterations on tumorigenesis, signaling activation, and targeted therapy response.
The candidate will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art instrumentation and innovative techniques from molecular and cell biology, including CRISPR techniques and RNA-Protein complex identification.
Your ProfileWe are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious student with a strong background in molecular biology and a strong interest in cancer research. The ideal candidate will have a good degree in a life science field and be proficient in English.
The candidate should be able to work efficiently, goal-oriented, and accurately, with a deep interest in research and a strong team spirit.
