We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum (DKFZ) in Heidelberg, Germany. Our research focuses on functional cancer genomics, with a particular emphasis on the high-throughput characterization of mutations in cancer genes and their impact on tumorigenesis, signaling activation, and targeted therapy response.
Your ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in cancer genomics, including the development and implementation of innovative techniques such as CRISPR site-directed mutagenesis. You will work closely with our team to design and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results. Additionally, you will contribute to the preparation of research papers and presentations for national and international conferences.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you should have a PhD in a life science field, with a strong background in molecular biology and/or cancer research. You should have published experience in techniques of cellular and molecular biology or cancer research, and be proficient in bioinformatics tools and software. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.
