We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our team at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Freiburg, Germany.
The successful candidate will be part of the Division of Cancer Research at the DKTK partner site Freiburg, which focuses on functional cancer genomics and the high-throughput characterization of mutations in cancer genes.
The postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for the functional characterization and analysis of genetic alterations in cancer in high throughput, using innovative techniques such as CRISPR site-directed mutagenesis.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a life science field and significant published experience in molecular biology and/or cancer research, with a strong background in techniques such as cellular and molecular biology or cancer research.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art laboratory with access to cutting-edge instrumentation and a collaborative research environment.
