We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Head of Seismic Operations at our company, DMT GmbH & Co. KG.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic management of our business segment, including sales activities, seismic survey design, contractor selection, and project planning. They will also oversee operations management, supervision, and the acquisition of major international projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the business segment, including sales and marketing strategies.
  • Design and manage seismic surveys, including contractor selection and project planning.
  • Oversee operations management, including supervision of field crews and technical mobilization.
  • Acquire major international projects and develop business opportunities.
  • Provide technical consultancy to asset teams on seismic acquisition techniques.
  • Monitor compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or diploma in geology, physics, or a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Profound knowledge in the processing and reprocessing of seismic data.
  • Significant experience in 2D/3D seismic and survey design/planning, operations, and sales.
  • Experience in preparing offers and familiar with oil and gas market procedures.
  • Knowledge of HSE and quality management standards and regulations (NEBOSH, SCC).
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and German.
  • Strong personnel management skills and experience in leading a team.
