About the Role
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Risk Professional to conduct onboarding processes in line with Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements according to applicable German law (GWG).
  • This role involves analyzing customer relationships, documentation, activity patterns, and transactions to detect potential suspicious activity or inconsistencies with client profiles.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for complying with relevant legislative and regulatory standards, as well as internal processes and procedures.
  • You will identify high-risk clients due to red flags or other triggers and resolve day-to-day issues arising during the CDD process, escalating complex challenges as needed.
  • Completing tasks efficiently and effectively is crucial, along with communicating task status to colleagues, supervisors, and managers.
  • This role requires managing a caseload throughout the end-to-end process and supporting ad-hoc projects within the department and wider business.
  • Additionally, you will validate checks carried out by other team members and support senior analysts with team management responsibilities.
Key Requirements
  • A university degree is required, along with up to 2 years of experience in a similar KYC-role or 5-6 years for Senior Analyst.
  • Fluency in English and German is mandatory, with knowledge of additional languages being a plus.
  • Candidates should possess articulate written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and working knowledge of office software like MS Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Highly organized individuals with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines effectively will thrive in this role.
