About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Brand Visual Designer to join our team. As a Senior Brand Visual Designer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing designs that communicate Omio's vision and brand image across our customer journey.
You will work closely with our marketing and product teams to strategize, brainstorm, and produce a variety of modern design assets that captivate our audience and drive performance. You will analyze user insight, consumer trends, and industry trends to transform these insights into unique brand experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop concepts that bring ideas to life and push the boundaries of design.
- Collaborate closely with our marketing and product teams to strategize, brainstorm, and produce modern design assets.
- Analyze user insight, consumer trends, and industry trends to transform insights into unique brand experiences.
- Design powerful and distinct designs with a team of talented designers, user-researchers, animators, content specialists, and illustrators.
- Create tactical design guidelines that define how our brand should be experienced by travelers.
- Establish an impactful tactics library to ensure brand consistency and scale our brand design.
- Consult and inspire our teams on industry trends, design software, and emerging technologies.
- Provide brand guidance, mentorship, and inspiration to the design community at Omio.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in designing at a tech company, marketing agency, or related field.
- Experience in directing complex solutions for digital e-commerce products and brand projects.
- Experience working with marketing, product, product design, and engineering peers to understand detailed requirements and exceed expectations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to clearly and effectively communicate the creative vision, concepts, ideas, and solutions to stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team setting, synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design workstreams.
- Experience designing for responsive web, mobile, app, UX, GUI design, and all relevant offline and online marketing tactics across the customer journey.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Figma, and designing for UX and GUI, as well as experience with illustration, video, icons, and knowledge or affinity with 3D design programs such as Blender, Unreal Engine, or AI tools such as Midjourney.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams and deliver exceptional results.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring timely completion and distinct quality.
- Extensive supervisory experience, including leadership, team-building, and delegation, leading and managing a design team.
- Attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to developing distinct designs to support the success of our brand with global travelers.
