Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Brand Visual Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design community, you will be responsible for creating and implementing designs that communicate Omio's vision and brand image across our customer journey.
You will work closely with our marketing and product teams to develop a unique and modern brand expression that reflects our company's values and mission. Your expertise will be essential in building a strong and compelling brand that drives user engagement and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a Creative Brand Design Vision: Ensure visual brand expression consistency across the entire user journey.
- Concept Development: Bring ideas to life and push the boundaries of design.
- Collaboration and Strategy: Work closely with marketing and product teams to strategize, brainstorm, and produce modern design assets that captivate our audience and drive performance.
- Design Systems: Develop design systems working with the Product UX/UI design team and ensure visual consistency from marketing to product.
- User Insight Analysis: Analyze user insight, consumer trends, and industry trends to transform these insights into unique brand experiences.
- Design Leadership: Lead a team of talented designers, user-researchers, animators, content specialists, and illustrators to create powerful and distinct designs.
- Tactical Design Guidelines: Create tactical design guidelines that define how our brand should be experienced by travelers, ensuring consistency and impact across all tactics.
- Brand Consistency: Establish an impactful tactics library to ensure brand consistency and scale our brand design.
- Design Process Improvement: Consult and inspire our teams on industry trends, design software, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes and deliver cutting-edge brand visual designs.
- Design Community Guidance: Provide brand guidance, mentorship, and inspiration to the design community at Omio.
Requirements
Experience and Skills:
- 5-8 years of experience in designing at a tech company, marketing agency, or related field.
- Experience in directing complex solutions for digital e-commerce products and brand projects.
- Experience working with marketing, product, product design, and engineering peers to understand detailed requirements and exceed expectations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to clearly and effectively communicate the creative vision, concepts, ideas, and solutions to stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team setting, synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design workstreams.
- Experience designing for responsive web, mobile, app, UX, GUI design, and all relevant offline and online marketing tactics across the customer journey.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Figma, and designing for UX and GUI, as well as experience with illustration, video, icons, and knowledge or affinity with 3D design programs such as Blender, Unreal Engine, or AI tools such as Midjourney.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams and deliver exceptional results.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring timely completion and distinct quality.
- Extensive supervisory experience, including leadership, team-building, and delegation, leading and managing a design team.
- Attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to developing distinct designs to support the success of our brand with global travelers.
