Your strength lies in creating visually impactful and engaging brands across various platforms, from marketing initiatives to product interfaces, while steering the design process from conceptualization to realization. You possess the ability to translate user insights into innovative and recognizable brand designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creative vision for brand design, ensuring cohesive visual representation throughout the entire customer journey.
- Generate concepts that bring ideas to fruition and challenge conventional design limits.
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to strategize, brainstorm, and create a diverse range of contemporary design assets that engage our audience and enhance performance.
- Develop design frameworks in collaboration with the Product UX/UI design team, ensuring visual uniformity from marketing to product.
- Evaluate user insights, consumer behaviors, and industry trends to convert these findings into distinctive brand experiences.
- Produce compelling and unique designs alongside a talented team of designers, user researchers, animators, content creators, and illustrators.
- Establish comprehensive design guidelines that dictate how our brand should resonate with travelers, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all initiatives.
- Create a robust library of tactics to maintain brand consistency and scale our design efforts.
- Advise and motivate our teams on industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance design practices and deliver innovative brand visuals.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and inspiration to the design community at Omio.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in design within a technology firm, marketing agency, or similar environment.
- Proven experience in directing complex solutions for digital commerce products and branding initiatives.
- Collaborative experience with Marketing, Product, Product Design, and Engineering teams to grasp detailed requirements and exceed expectations.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate creative visions, concepts, and solutions to stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment, translating abstract ideas into concrete design workflows.
- Experience in designing for responsive web, mobile applications, UX, GUI, and all relevant offline and online marketing strategies throughout the customer journey.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Figma, and designing for UX and GUI, along with experience in illustration, video, icons, and familiarity with 3D design tools such as Blender, Unreal Engine, or AI applications like Midjourney.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams and achieve outstanding results.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Extensive leadership experience, including team-building and delegation, overseeing and managing a design team.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to creating distinctive designs that support our brand's success with global travelers.
